(Cleveland, Ohio — April 6, 2017) — FisherBroyles, LLP (“FisherBroyles”) is pleased to announce that Louis Wagner has joined its Cleveland office as a partner in its Intellectual Property Law Group.  Mr. Wagner is an experienced patent attorney with a true passion for providing thoughtful and judiciously creative advice to help clients succeed.

Mr. Wagner draws on his diverse education and experience in chemical research & development at Sohio & British Petroleum, law, and engineering to provide balanced advice on topics such as: aligning IP strategy with business goals, developing patent portfolios, IP due diligence, legal opinions, tech-related agreements, IP-related litigation advising, risk assessment, and design-around analysis.

Mr. Wagner draws on a strong background of over 13 years of experience in Chemical R&D and 27 years of experience in Patent Law.  His technical expertise includes experience relating to heterogeneous catalysis for various organic reactions as well as polymerization catalyst research.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Wagner was  inorganic chemist for a leading petroleum company and an inventor on three (3) patents.
