After a judicial clerkship in North Carolina, Steve worked with Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP for 15 years in the Washington, DC and Los Angeles, California offices and then with an exceptional trial firm in Alexandria, Virginia for 8 years. Steve is a skilled litigator whose practice primarily focuses on complex civil and commercial litigation and RICO cases. He has a broad range of experience handling contract, business and other tort, RICO, fraud, computer crimes/unlawful surveillance, FTC enforcement, employment, intellectual property, complex fee petitions, and administrative actions before state and federal trial and appellate courts and arbitration panels. Steve is experienced in all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation counseling and strategic advice, investigations, pleadings, discovery, law and motion practice, injunctions, evidentiary hearings, trials, arbitrations, appeals, and complex settlements. Steve has provided these services to individual and corporate clients across the country.
