FisherBroyles congratulates Michael Cone, the firm’s New York and Washington, DC Office Managing Partner, for being selected as a contributing thought leader by two diverse international trade publications.
His reflections on managing OFAC sanctions compliance appeared this summer in Financier Worldwide’s article entitled “Managing Sanctions Compliance Challenges”. Joined in this UK publication by experts from Grant Thornton, CSC (a Fortune 200 IT company), and Baker & McKenzie, Michael drew on his recent work to identify hot topics and discuss best practices for international businesses striving to manage risks in the rapidly evolving sanctions compliance arena.
Earlier this year, Michael was selected to contribute to Échanges Internationaux, a magazine published by the International Chamber of Commerce. The magazine, with a global circulation of 30,000 copies, focused on French-American relations, businesses, and service providers. Contributors were limited to those selected by the French government, who received personal invitations from the French Ambassador to the United States. His article, which he wrote in both French and English, discusses FisherBroyles’ game-changing Law Firm 2.0® model as well as his own customs, international trade, and federal regulatory practice.
